Morgan Elementary School Renovation and Addition
EH Construction was the prime contractor for this project. Duties performed included project management, scheduling, supervision, quality control, rough carpentry, installation of doors and hardware, and specialties.
Project Specifications
- Approximately 35,000 SF school expanded in all directions to approximately 90,000 SF.
- Project included construction of a new kitchen, cafeteria, classrooms, administrative offices, and much more.
- The facility was completely occupied throughout construction over a two-year period.
“We were very pleased with EH Construction. They were very willing to go above and beyond to make our project a success. The staging of this project was particularly difficult. We had a limited footprint for building, and we had to continue educating 525 elementary students. We had to move our serving area for our cafeteria three times during the project. We had to construct several temporary enclosures so that students, staff, and parents could make their way through the building. It was a total success! In fact, the students’ academic success actually increased during construction! Construction meetings were timely and well run. The reports and information we gathered were concise and helpful.
